Rob Is Britain's Highest Earning Star

Not only was Rob one of last year’s highest earning celebrities in Hollywood, but he was the highest earning British star of 2010, according to the Telegraph.


The phenomenal success of the “Twilight” films in which he plays a lovestruck vampire has helped him be named as highest earning British star of 2010.


Pattinson earned £18.3m last year to put him at 15th place on the annual Vanity Fair top performers list.


He beat more established stars such as Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Nicholas Cage to make the list for the first time.


According to a breakdown of his earnings by the magazine for its Oscar’s edition the bulk of the 24 year old’s money came from the latest Twilight film “Breaking Dawn” which has been filmed in two parts.


The actor, who began his film career in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” six years ago, was paid £8.3m for each of the films.


He also picked up a £1m payday for his next film “Water for Elephants” where he stars alongside Reese Witherspoon and £600,000 for starring in an forthcoming costume drama “Bel Ami”.


Pattinson, who has millions of female fans from playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga, replaces another young British actor on the annual list compiled by Vanity Fair.

Twilight cast confirmed in carnival in Rio de Janeiro?


According to the newspaper, the vampire saga are confirmed presence at this year's carnival in Rio.


Fans of "Twilight" can now celebrate. According to Bruno Astuto column, the newspaper O Dia, the vamps are confirmed presence in the cabin of Brahma (Beer).


"After the passage of Madonna, we have to get an artist to the point," said Renata Carvalho, head of international VIP list of the brewery.

Kristen Offered 'Snow White'

On Tuesday, Gossip Cop confirmed that Kristen Stewart was on Universal’s list for the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman.


At the time, Stewart was described to us as a “person of interest.”


Today, it appears that status has been elevated.


Sources close to the production tell Gossip Cop the Snow White role belongs to Stewart if the two sides can come to an agreement.


Again, nothing is finalized yet, but the Twilight star has been offered the role.


Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron are currently attached to the project. Rupert Sanders is directing.

Charlize Theron Shares a Love of Chucks and Another Twilight Connection With Future Costar Kristen Stewart

Charlize Theron sported her trusty Converse Chuck Taylors as she made her way through LAX yesterday. She's on her way out of town amid exciting casting news about her upcoming project Snow White and the Huntsman, in which she will reportedly play the evil witch. Kristen Stewart is in talks to play the title role in the film, and we're already excited about how perfect she would be for the part. Charlize also recently teamed up with another Twilight star, Elizabeth Reaser, in Diablo Cody and Jason Reitman's Young Adult. Whether or not either of those roles bring Charlize more award season glory is yet to be determined, but both projects will easily land on our list of must sees.

Will Rob & Kristen Be At The BAFTA's?

There are reports out there that Robert Pattinson may be a presenter at the 2011 BAFTA's or the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards. While there has been no announcement as of yet there is a good reason to expect Robert Pattinson to be there.


The reason that people think that Robert Pattinson may be a presenter at the awards is because of a poster that was released in Britain promoting the event that shows features Pattinson. It is reasonable to assume that since he is on the poster that he would be attending the awards in some fashion. Considering Rob is not up for an award this year it would also be safe to assume that he would be a presenter.


However, it could also be that the BAFTA's are shrew marketers and figured that if they put Rob Pattinson on the poster it would increase the ratings for the show. I doubt that they would be so deceiving though.


The question that many people are asking is; If Robert Pattinson is a presenter will he be bringing Kristen Stewart with him? While nobody knows the answer to that question it seems probable that he would depending on her schedule. We can only hope that Pattinson is a presenter and that he brings Stewart with him.

Tom Sturridge Talks About Kristen

E!Online- Marc Malkin: It's not easy being Kristen Stewart.


Though she looks plenty pleased sitting with costar Garrett Hedlund in this just-released still from On the Road, her pal and fellow Road costar Tom Sturridge says he's seen firsthand how aggressive the paparazzi can be with K.Stew.


"I think, you know, with her and with everybody, it's just not fair, especially with like young girls," Sturridge told me the other day while promoting his new flick Waiting For Forever (out tomorrow, February 4) at West Hollywood's Standard Hotel. "It's outrageous. Men chasing young girls? It's terrible."


Working with Stewart on On The Road was anything but terrible. "She's astonishing," Sturridge said. "I think she's genuinely an extraordinary actress, and she does things in the film that I've never seen her do. But also kind of never seen anyone do. Yeah, she was just brilliant." (FYI: He doesn't lock lips with her, but costar Garrett Hedlund does.)


On the Road, an adaptation of Jack Kerouac classic beat novel of the same name, also costars Sam Riley. "It was so weird," Sturridge said. "I remember the beginning when all of us were sitting at rehearsals looking at each other being like, 'How is this responsibility of this film sitting on our shoulders?'"
Sturridge also revealed that he hasn't seen Hedlund's most recent flick, Country Strong. But he doesn't really have to. "Garrett has sung me all the Country Strong songs and acted out whole scenes for me so I feel like I've seen it," he said, laughing.


In Waiting For Forever, Sturridge plays a professional juggler who has a lifelong obsession with a childhood friend, played by Rachel Bilson. "I've definitely been obsessed with a couple of girls," said with a smile. "They didn't work out."

We start off with the actors who are portraying Liam and Siobhan as part of the Irish Coven in the film. Both have had a chance to work with Rob. And today both had really nice things to say about him.

Earlier in the week we also got a peek at Edward and his wedding ring, courtesy of a devoted fan. And severe weather caused concern for the cast and crew

We also heard from some of the other cast members, who are loving their jobs and talking about it..

While the humans came and went from Baton Rouge, it appears the wedding scene has yet to be filmed if you are to believe Lainey Gossip:

The cast will arrive in Vancouver later this month, and it appears Bella's house is ready to go!

The very first stills of Kristen Stewart in the On The Road have just been unveiled on the French film site CommeauCinema.com. So far, Kristen Stewart looks just incredible as Miss Marylou from Walter Salles' adaptation of Jack Kerouac's autobiography.


On The Road still doesn't have a release date, and the production company, MK2, is based out of Paris. So, that would explain why the first stills from the movie are surfacing there. For more information, please see the film's IMDb.com page!


Also arriving recently is a rich supplement of information about Kristen Stewart's forthcoming K-11 (written by her mother, Jules Mann Stewart).

Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner Win Big On ‘Top Earners’ List

First, the good news for Kristen Stewart: The Twilight beauty was Hollywood’s top female earner last year.


Now, the bad news: She still made less than her Twilight cohort Taylor Lautner.


A list of Hollywood’s Top Earners published in the March issue of Vanity Fair names Stewart as the best-paid show-biz female last year, with $28.5 million in earnings. Stewart, who came in 13th overall on the list, bested such heavy Hollywood hitters as Jennifer Aniston, who socked away $24.5 million, and Aniston’s tabloid arch-nemesis, Angelina Jolie, who took in a mere $21.5 million.


Alas, K-Stew still hasn’t won financial bragging rights on the Breaking Dawn set; Lautner, who’s been lining up some big post-Twilight movie deals for himself lately, raked in $33.5 million in 2010. Stewart, however, still out-earned her other co-star (and rumored boyfriend) Robert Pattinson, who just made the Top 15 with $27.5 million. (Does that mean Kristen pays for their dates?)

Kristen's Rep Tells PEOPLE "She Has Not Been Approached" For Superman

People: "Kristen Stewart has no beef with the Man of Steel.


Despite reports that the actress turned down the role of Lois Lane in the 2012 Superman film, her rep tells PEOPLE there was never any discussion about her playing the part.


"There are a number of fabricated stories circulating," says the rep. "The fact is that she has not met on this film nor has she been approached for this film."


Stewart will next be seen in the drama On the Road and will reprise her role as Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and 2."

Will Kristen Stewart Make A Good Snow White? - Currently She's In Negotiation

Hollywoodreporter: "The Twilight star is in negotiations to star in Snow White and the Huntsman, putting her on the road to topline the movie alongside Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron for Universal’s take on the fairy tale. The deal is not done and could still fall apart, but both sides want it to happen.


Stewart is a name that Universal kept coming back to since acquiring the project. Still, it went through a series of screen tests with actresses such as Riley Keough, Felicity Jones and Alicia Vikander. As The Hollywood Reporter previously reported, Stewart was still being courted as late as last week, and Universal finally made an offer over the weekend. Commercial helmer Rupert Sanders is making his directorial debut on the pic, which amps up the action quotient from the fairy tale and plays up the relationship between White and the Huntsman. In the new scenario, when she is banished and on the run by the evil queen (Theron), the Huntsman (Mortensen) takes her under his wing to protect her, and she becomes his protege, learning how to fight and defend herself. LAtimes: "The hallmarks of the character, at least in the Brothers Grimm telling, is softness and vulnerability. Stewart has done vulnerability -- sort of -- in parts of the "Twilight" franchise. But her defining characteristic has been toughness. Certainly that's been a part of the non-"Twilight" roles she's tackled, as hard-living rocker Joan Jett in "The Runaways" and as a troubled stripper in "Welcome to the Rileys." Will her Goth aspects mesh with the softness of a princess?

Kristen Stewart and Selena Gomez ‘Snow White’ Rumors – The Latest

For days, rumors have flown about which young actress will play the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman.
Kristen Stewart is most frequently discussed for the fairy tale role, but now Selena Gomez has become part of the speculation, thanks to certain outlets.
So where does the production actually stand?
Here’s what we know.
A source familiar with the Snow White project confirms to Gossip Cop that Stewart is “someone of interest” and currently on the studio’s list.
(Not surprising.)
As for Gomez, however, we’re told her name has not been in the mix at all, and that rumors about her auditioning for the role are inaccurate.
There have been no negotiations with anyone yet.

How much legitimacy is there to this talk about her playing Lane?
Not much.
A source familiar with the upcoming Zack Snyder movie tells Gossip Cop it’s “unlikely” Stewart would wind up in the Lane role.
The studio itself, meanwhile, “does not comment on rumors.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt has landed her dream job – she has been hired to cover the red carpet at the final TWILIGHT movie premiere for TV show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD.


The die hard fan revealed she has yet to meet Twilight hero Robert Pattinson after he snubbed her at a photo signing, and now TV bosses have stepped in to make her wish come true.


Appearing on Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday (01Feb11), the actress told host Billy Bush, “I actually waited in line to take a picture of him (Pattinson) after the very first premiere for, like, an hour and 15 minutes and, as I got up to take my picture, they were like, ‘Robert, are you tired?’ He’s like, ‘Yes’, and he left.”


But then Bush offered her the job of a lifetime, asking Hewitt if she’d be interested in reporting on the red carpet at the next Twilight premiere.


Thrilled Hewitt screamed and said, “Are you kidding? Really…? Oh my God… This is amazing… I’m gonna get (vampire) teeth… I’m gonna get him (Pattinson) to sit on my lap.”

Today the Sundance channel, for those of you who get it, will be showing How to Be not once, not twice, but three times! It will air at 9:40AM, 2:30PM and 5:35PM. Can’t watch today? It’ll also be on tomorrow (Thursday) 8:15AM, 12:30PM, and 4:45PM and Friday at 8:50AM and 1:25PM. The final run will be Wednesday, February 23rd at 6:05AM and noon.

Robert And Kristen Snubbed By "Vanity Fair" Again!

From Metrowny: "Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart just can't get the editors of Vanity Fair to pay attention to them. For the third year in a row Robert Pattinson has been ignored by the magazine in its iconic yearly Hollywood issue. Although Kristen Stewart made the cut last year she hadn't the year before and didn't again this year. What is going on over there at Vanity Fair?


The fact that Rob Pattinson hasn't made this issue in three years is a joke. They must have something against him over there. Maybe he didn't want to do an interview with them one time and they have held a grudge ever since. The fact that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have only made the addition once in the last three years between the two of them is bad enough, but not having one single cast member from the Twilight series in this edition is just a horrible decision. Twilight is one of the biggest film series in the last decade and has many up and coming not to mention already established stars. To think that Vanity Fair didn't think anyone from the films was worthy of the issue is odd and begs to question whether or not the editors at the magazine really know what they are doing.


This Hollywood issue is supposed to highlight all the big stars of Hollywood who are currently relevant. How does Robert Pattinson not fit that description? They have Jake Gyllenhaal in there for gods sake! How is he a bigger star or more relevant in Hollywood than Rob Pattinson?


I think Vanity Fair has a some explaining to do. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are two of the biggest stars in the world, their film series is one of the most successful in the last ten years and Breaking Dawn will end up being one of the biggest movies of the year. Vanity Fair really drooped the ball on this one."

The meeting could not have lasted long. The source says Stewart "ultimately passed" on being cast as the intrepid Daily Planet reporter who works alongside Clark Kent and becomes Superman's love interest.


Our source, who works with Snyder, says the director did not offer Stewart the role, but had "definite" interest in her playing the quick-thinking brunette.


Stewart, however, had specific reasons for turning down the part. The source says the intense-eyed actress, whose rumored involvement with "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson set the media swooning, was "caught off guard" by the success of that film franchise and wasn't ready to leap into a similar situation just yet. Instead, the source said, Stewart professed an interest in "smaller, independent films." (Stewart's spokeswoman said only that she "did not read for the part" and declined to elaborate.)


Legitimate reasons, perhaps, but our source says Snyder was left feeling "slighted" by Stewart and that the awkward beauty had "wasted his time."
Snyder, whose résumé includes "300," is also reportedly considering Jessica Biel, "Glee's" Dianna Agron, Rachel McAdams, Malin Akerman and Mila Kunis for the role of Lane. (On Sunday, Warner Bros. said that Brit Henry Cavill, best known for his role as Charles Brandon, First Duke of Suffolk, in Showtime's "The Tudors," would play Superman (and alter ego Clark Kent.)


Warner Bros. did not get back to us with a comment by deadline.


Despite her desire to do some indie films, Stewart may be willing to reach for the hair dye for one big-budget part. Another insider close to the actress says she hasn't ruled out the title role in director Rupert Sanders' "Snow White and the Huntsman," which is to begin filming this summer.


Production for "Superman" is also to begin in Vancouver this summer - which could have meant a potential conflict for Stewart, had she wanted both roles."
