'Cosmopolis' Update!

Cosmopolis producer Paulo Branco confirmed to Screen Daily that Juliette Binoche is now part of the cast:

He [Branco] also said that there was now a confirmed shooting date for David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis (sold by Kinology but produced by Branco) of May 24. Paul Giamatti and Juliette Binoche have also joined the cast.

Binoche seems like a good match for this unique film and Rob. We don't know who she will be playing yet, but we'll update you as we get more information.

According to PattinsonStew, C7nema is reporting that Mathieu Amalric has joined the cast as well. Howard Shore is reportedly also attached to Cronenberg's project.

As of now filming is set to begin May 24 in Toronto, and at some point move to New York. C7nema adds that filming will last for nine weeks.

News is moving quick on Rob's next project, and we'll be here to bring you the very latest! - in the meantime you may want to freshen up on Cronenberg's work in a great Cosmopolis preview by Indiemoviesonline.
