It appears that something "Twilight" will happen at the Oscars on Sunday, but will it be Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart making an appearance, or will it be a Breaking Dawn trailer appearing somewhere in the show's lineup? No one knows for sure. What we do know is that we should all expect something "Twilight" to happen.
Oscar producer, Bruce Cohen, made a statement that alludes to there being a Twilight surprise during the 83rd annual Academy Awards this Sunday night.
"For all of you Twi-hards out there we have a little surprise for you on our show Sunday night," said Cohen. "If you like those three films Watch the Oscars!"
Ever since this statement was made, Twilight fans have been trying to figure out what was meant by it.
Could it mean that Robert Pattinson and or Kristen Stewart will be present and possibly presenting?
Could it mean that an extended Breaking Dawn trailer will be played during the show as some rumors have suggested?
If you're a betting person, you would probably go with the Breaking Dawn trailer being the more likely outcome. The reason is, Rob and Kristen just recently arrived in Vancouver to continuing filming Breaking Dawn. The odds that they would disrupt filming so soon after it has started just to make an appearance at an awards show in which neither of them are nominated is unlikely.
However, enough of the movie has been shot in order to give fans one heck of an extended trailer. A three minute or longer trailer would be great promotion for Breaking Dawn and would be enough to excite Twilight fans. In fact, one could argue that an extended trailer might even be better than Robert Pattinson and, or Kristen Stewart making a short and uneventful appearance.
