While she’s currently getting “Breaking Dawn” filming underway, Kristen Stewart is also looking forward to the release of her movie “Welcome to the Rileys” – which hits theaters on October 29th.
Having premiered the film first at Sundance in January before taking it to New York City this past Monday (October 18), the Bella Swan babe has said that the role of a runaway-turned-stripper named Mallory is the most personal of her career.
as for the movie’s plot, “Welcome to the Rileys” finds a damaged man on a business trip to New Orleans, where he seeks salvation by caring for a wayward young woman.
And while the movie is just being released, it was actually shot prior to Kristen’s “Twilight” stardom back in 2008.
Talking with MTV News about the growth which he’s seen in Miss Stewart since shooting “Welcome to the Rileys,” director Jake Scott said, “She’s grown up. She’s a woman now.”
Adding that he saw the “seedlings” of a mature woman in her from their first meetup, Scott added, “It was an act of courage on her part, especially when you consider she was just 18.”
